Walmart vs. Amazon

Walmart is taking a play out of Amazon’s playbook as the company will now start fulfilling orders placed on other platforms such as Target, Etsy, and Amazon. Amazon has previously said that more than 60% of website sales are from outside sellers (FBA), and the company launched Supply Chain by Amazon in 2023 as an end to end supply chain solution. Given the rapid growth Amazon has been experiencing, Walmart is now trying to implement a similar strategy to take back some marketshare from Amazon. Check out the WSJ article here.
