Pricing Transparency and How to Build Trust

Every 3PL has a slightly different pricing structure. Some charge a flat rate order fee while others have multiple line items like pick and pack, storage, receiving, carrier rates, etc.

While there is no correct way to price, transparency is key to building a long term 3PL partnership.

One exercise that could be successful is asking the brand to provide you with a previous months order history. Once received, you should price this for the brand so they could see what total costs would have been and what potential savings could look like moving forward

If you are a brand that is looking to move 3PLs, this is definitely an exercise worth asking for during your decision making process.
